CD Projekt, the group that owns both famed developer CD Projekt Red and GOG, has announced their 2016 financial results and ho-boy, they’ve made some dollars and cents. Reporting a net profit of 251 million Polish Zloty (~64 million USD) for the year, they’ve released some rather nice statistics on how their most famous game series is getting along. In fact, 2016 was 75% as good as 2015 for the company - despite only Blood and Wine being released in that period, versus the base game itself the year before. They mention that despite spending a lot on future projects - specifically, Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent, along with development of Blood and Wine earlier in the year - they still managed to “post 204 million PLN in positive cash flows.”
