Outlast 2, the sequel to one of the better indie horrors out there, is doing the classic total plot reboot to go in a different direction despite being in the same universe with similar themes. Beyond mysterious corn fields and upside-down burning crosses, that’s just about all we know regarding the new game. That’s about to change, with a Demo for Outlast 2 being released today on Steam, after having leaked on EU PSN earlier today.

However, its also got a time limit. The demo will be available until November 1 and then it disappears forever (or, well, probably until just before the game is out or something). Steam’s the place to get it.
