Valorant How to Play Fracture! By:

I know a lot of people are still confused about how to play Fracture. So I’ve developed a simple framework for understanding and playing fracture – hopefully this helps!

To put it simply, the one thing about Fracture that stands out the most is the fact that there are 4 ULT ORBS ON THE MAP. Each Ult Orb has a home in a neutral area for both teams to fight for. Those areas (according to Riot’s callouts) are A-Main, Dish, B-main, and Arcade.

So think of playing Fracture like playing an ORB-FARMING MINIGAME. At the start of the round, you just want to choose 1 of the 4 neutral areas to fight for control over. How you take control of that area is up to you, but you should definitely think about how you can creatively use your agent’s UTILITY to achieve your goal.

Once you’ve taken control of that area, then you can farm that ult orb and build up that sweet sweet ultimate.

By seeing the map this way (playing the ult orb farming minigame by focusing on just 1 of the 4 neutral sections), hopefully, it’ll make the map a lot less intimidating. You also build up small leads by

  1. Farming ult orbs to build your ult

  2. Gaining map control which increases the strategic options for your team and denies strategic options for the enemy team.

Disclaimer: Obviously there are a ton more ways to play Fracture, the strategic depth of this map goes really deep. This short guide is mostly to help those who may be feeling overwhelmed or confused with the new map and just need a sound game plan to navigate the map.

I also made a short video on this that goes a bit more in depth if you guys want to check it out

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
