Fortnite - The Fun, the Forts and the Firefights!

So who do you know that has actually said 'I don't like Fortnite!'? We have met some people who are not Huge Fans but none that have actively said they hate it.

Not only does it run as smooth as a golden river, the mechanics of battle make it a bit of a market leader. Do we think other games such as First-Person shooters may look into this build mechanic?

Anyway, as you can tell we are HUGE fans of it and our love still grows day by day.

We want to present to what we have found from playing it once a week, to having a few battles each night, all the way to 10 hour sessions!

The Fun: Well, you just can't take yourself too seriously on this game, you could be running around with a backpack full of epic guns and someone with a grey revolver can drop you in seconds. Obviously if you have cat-like reactions, you can shut them down and take their revolver... slash... dance on their corpse and run off! The super-fast-paced, to the stealth-bush approach gives the player a number of options as to how they want to tackle opposing Fort builders. Single, Duo and Squad all offer a unique experience but playing with friends, headsets on is such a laugh.

The Fort: Learn to build a fort and you will be winning games in no time, not only does this give you the high ground Anakin, creating a tactical to advantage aggressively shoot down on your enemies, it also gives you a perfect 360 view of the area.

You will see those walking bush babies in no time and give them a new haircut with your ranged weapons.

When you're on the run from a group of SCAR-hungry players, you can very quickly build a 4-wall Fort, then quickly build a slope, crouch and creep up to the top and get a few shots in.

Or instead of a slope, throw a roof on and bandage up.

The Firefight: Aim assist is your friend here, so is aiming for the head. Get that critical damage in there, especially with the Shotguns as whilst at close range, you can take enemies down with a single shot. Shooting a moving target, use the Aim Assist to help you, if you start missing, move the cross-hair off the enemy and then move it back on them, resetting the aim assist. If the target is 8 weeks away, make sure you shoot ahead of them.
Don't be afraid to play aggressively and rush your target, build a slope, get above them and aim for the head only!

We hope these tips help you out, they have made us more effeciant, especially since our first Fortnite Twitch Stream!
