Westerns are still being made! Quite a good cast too. Looking forward seeing this one. The choice of composers though is perhaps the most interesting and exciting for me. Lisa Gerrard and Marcello De Francisci previously worked together on Samsara (and others). A western though, that’s surprising and I’m very excited about this. The score opens with ‘Bedtime Story’ a classic guitar and violin theme which is of course great for westerns. Not only does it fit the premise, but the music itself is quite lovely as well. it’s just a nice family time prairie tune. The slow prairie western guitar style suits me just fine, and I’m enjoying it.
