Musician Gary Numan prepares to make a comeback after a six year hiatus in Gary Numan: Androd in La La Land. Since arriving on the music scene in the late-1970s Gary Numan has come to be known as the Godfather of electronic pop music, with him having a career spanning nearly four decades. After taking a self-imposed hiatus following a bout with depression, Numan relocates with his family to Los Angeles and begins work on his comeback album "Splinter."
Even if you haven't followed his entire 39 year career, it can almost be a given that you would have at least heard Gary Numan's 1979 breakthrough hit "Cars," which is probably one of the best known songs from the 1980s.
