Big Brother 18 Episode 18

Despite a lot of seemingly pointless drama (welcome to Big Brother), nothing really happened in Big Brother 18 Episode 17, leaving Frank on the block against Bridgette.

The houseguests get a message on the TV screen and start searching the house for the secret. Paul solves the clues, so basically nobody is happy. He is granted a 1 in 12 chance of returning to the house after he is evicted. Not very good odds, but at least it’s something. He feels like he can keep this a secret and prevent Frank and Bridgette from entering, but that seems highly unlikely.

Victor is pretty sure that Paul’s bad story to hide what happened is a lie, and he cracks the code as well. The rest of the house follows on his heels. Perhaps he should have spent a little more time locked in the secret room to come up with a good story.

Julie tells us that the last envelope will be opened on August 18, so that should probably be 4 or 5 chances for someone to return.

Frank gives what amounts to a farewell speech before the vote. He knows like everybody else that he’s going home, leaving Bridgette ironically to seek revenge against Michelle, the one other person who would have wanted to keep him.

By a vote of 9-0, Frank has been evicted from the Big Brother house. His envelope does not contain a ticket back into the house. He realizes that he has a big mouth and trusted too many people in his stupidly big alliance.

In the HOH competition, they will have to roll balls down a beam. They can practice as many times as they want with a practice ball, but only the red colored ball counts. They’re going to keep practicing for a while. They’re so bored in that house they may as well keep going all night.

The next twist is announced, America’s Care Package, which will allow for America to vote for a player to receive an advantage. Stupid popularity contest voting advantages. This week’s vote is for a never not pass, a welcome but modest thing to have. Future much better powers include the ability to eliminate two eviction votes, safety for a week, co-HOH, and $5k to bribe someone else.
