It doesn't seem like there would be many disadvantages to America's Care Packages on Big Brother 18. There is not only the inevitable ego boost of receiving a gift directly from America. There is the advantage received in the care package itself which, while not always perfect, has the potential to benefit a houseguest's game. Yet because of the specific way that Care Packages are given there is a backlash to receiving one. Since Care Packages are opened and revealed in front of the entire house they might actually be causing the recipient much more harm than good on Big Brother 18.
