In this episode of Dance Moms, "The Maddie Rumor," Maddie is getting her makeup done at the ALDC LA, while Melissa announces that Maddie's been nominated for a People's Choice Award. Abby was given two tickets, since Mackenzie wouldn't be able to make it to support her sister. Melissa really hopes that it's an opportunity for Abby to bring a date.
But Abby can't concentrate on the awards just yet. "The Minis are back, but not all of them," Abby says, noting that many of them cracked under the pressure. A new mom will be coming in with three kids. Her name is Jeannie, and she's the mom to 7-year-old Coco; Rihanna, who is 9; and Kaylee, the eldest at 11. They're from Southern California, and per Jeannie, they're greatly respected in the Dance community. Sari recognizes her immediately based on a past studio and notes that she's absolutely crazy.
