I Don’t Take the Government Seriously: Abhay Deol

abhay-deol-on-pak-actors

Ever since the issue of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was raised by MNS for having Pakistani Actor Fawad Khan, the media has been questioning about the same from different actors in B Town. Some chose to remain silent while other spoke against it and some who had guts question the establishment for remaining mute against the hate mongers like MNS and other fanatic groups. Abhay Deol who has done a film – Happy Bhagh Jayegi with a Pak based actor in it also spoke about it.

The actor who is known for his serious characters and serious real and reel life nature spoke about the issue when the journalists asked him about his views on the Pakistani actors in B Town films. He said to ban everything if the Government is serious about banning the Pak based actors in the B Town films. He suggested doing a number of things which the present government is keen to do rather only banning the Pakistani actors in Bollywood films.

He called the present government very much hypocritical about the way they are handling the issues and further said that he doesn’t take the union government seriously since it is playing with this issue with irresponsible actions. He said to ban the things the government import and ban the businessmen to do business across the border. As soon as the actor gave his statement there were many on the microblogging site who came forward to support and applaud him and for his bold statement.
