It’s been a year and Fantastic FOUR still manages to creep into my nightmares. For what was looking like a very interesting superhero film from 2015, it managed to fall flat on it’s face. We still don’t know what really went on with supposed meddling from 20th Century Fox, but then there’s the rumours of Josh Trank being all over the place when directing.
A Sequel hasn’t been denied from FOX just yet, probably because when they do it means handing the rights back over to Marvel. Although it’s supposed to be in the works, nothing has bene official but Miles Teller has already said he’d do another. He’s not alone now as Kate Mara has also voiced her thoughts on a sequel:
“Oh yeah, I’d love to be a part of a FANTASTIC FOUR sequel or whatever they may or may not have in store for us. I know that all of the guys feel the same way, we love working with each other and we would love to actually play these characters in another way somehow in the future. I have no idea if that’s actually true, if that will happen, but I would be really happy to do it.”
Really Kate, I mean really? I wasn’t even a part of the film and I wouldn’t go back for seconds on that. Like I said, we have no idea what’s going on with the film but Michael B. Jordan has gone off to join Marvel, so who knows if that’d stop him joining up again as Human Torch, but hey, at least they’ve got Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic.
