After the success of Deadpool earlier this year, it’s no surprise that DEADPOOL 2 is happening. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) himself told us it was going to after the credits and his word is golden. What he didn’t tell us, however, is that the film will feature the character of Domino, a key female role, and a shortlist has been revealed of potential names for the role.

The list consists of ten actresses who are being considered for the role, they are: Lizzy Caplan, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sienna Miller, Sofia Boutella, Stephanie Sigman, Sylvia Hoeks, Mackenzie Davis, Ruby Rose, Eve Hewson and Kelly Rohrback.

Domino is a member of the X-Force team who frequently join forces with Deadpool and his partner Cable. Cable was confirmed for the sequel by Deadpool himself but no casting has been announced just yet.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are working the script once again with a potential 2018 release in mind with production hoping to begin early next year.
