DISH to Carry Fusion Network Nationwide

Good news folks. Dish has added Fusion Network (channel number 244) to its already extensive lineup. Fusion Network is a new channel with an exclusive mix of original reporting, lifestyle, and comedic content that caters to young, multicultural viewers.

It seems DISH is determined to touch the lives of a variety of audience.

Alfredo Rodriguez, vice president of marketing, said, “Through its television and digital properties, Fusion speaks to a diverse new generation across all DISH customers. DISH’s overall lineup is greatly enhanced by Fusion, helping us to better connect with an important viewing demographic that is an increasingly influential member of today’s marketplace.”

Fusion is the latest addition to DISH programming as part of the March distribution agreement with The Walt Disney Company. This agreement has greatly expanded live and on demand content lineup for DISH customers. Subscribers to America’s Top 250 packages and above as well as most DishLatino packages will   be able to see Fusion in their lineup.

Fusion on Demand will also be available in the coming week.

Fusion CEO Isaac Lee said, “Fusion is committed to delivering content that champions a diverse, smart, and inclusive America through programming that is infused with humor, diverse voices, and many viewpoints. We are thrilled to be partnering with DISH to bring our unique content offering to a larger audience.”

Launched in October 2013 Fusion is a joint venture between Univision Communications Inc. as well as the Disney/ABC Television Network.
