Former freestyle motocross racer Carey Hart shared heartfelt Mother’s Day greetings via Instagram Sunday.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the best mother on the planet @pink. You won’t meet a more hands on mother anywhere, and it shows in how amazing Willow is. Thank you for being such a great person, mother, friend, and wife. We love you Mama!!!!!” Hart captioned the image of wife, pop superstar Pink, and their 4-year-old daughter Willow.
The Grammy Award-winning singer recently opened up about their happy family life.
“He always falls to sleep putting Willow to bed,” the Just Like Fire hitmaker, 36, said of her hubby. “The other night I said, ‘Are you going to stay up tonight?’ And he said, ‘I would like to.’ I said, ‘I don’t really know what that means. Should I light candles and open wine and put on a show? Like, are we going big here? Or are you going to fall asleep again?’ So, I lit the candles and opened the wine, and an hour and a half later, [Carey was fast asleep in their daughter’s bedroom].”
But there’s a silver lining to the situation.
“I’m caught up on Homeland, so we’re good,” the soulful singer joked. “And then he wakes up eventually; I’m pretending to be asleep. He comes in bed—it’s pitch dark; he cannot see my face—and yet he rolls over and says, ‘What’s wrong?’”
She added: “He sucks! No, he’s good. He’s very, very handsome. He’s an incredible dad. That’s why he falls asleep, because she wants him to stay.”
