During what we hope will turn out to have been the low point of his most recent downward spiral, Scott Disick recently spent a week getting wasted in Cannes and hooking up with starlets nearly twenty years younger than his ex, Kourtney Kardashian.

That may not sound like such a bad way to kick off your summer, but this wasn't Scott's way of blowing off some steam and celebrating the single life.

Rather, those closest to the Lord say that it was all part of a misguided effort to exact revenge on Kourtney for dating Younes Bendjima. 

Needless to say, demonstrating what a pervy, drunken waste case he can be didn't send Kourt rushing back into his arms.

Fortunately, it looks as though Disick may have given up his psychological warfare campaign and is now following Kourtney's lead by moving on with someone new.

Of course, this is Scott Disick we're talking about, so his new relationship is gross and problematic on a number of different levels.

It's being widely reported today that Disick is dating Sofia Richie, the 18-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie and sister of Nicole.

As if the fact that she's 18 to Scott's 34 wasn't icky enough, Scott's relationship with Sofia is troubling for a number of other reasons, not the least of which is that he may be using her as a pawn in a seriously twisted game.

Sofia dated Justin Bieber briefly last year (not long after reaching the age of consent) and Bieber's past dalliances with Kourtney have been well-publicized.

So it's possible that Scott sees dating Sofia as a "two birds with one stone" situation - an opportunity to simultaneously mess with the heads of both his ex and her past lover.

If that's the case, then it seems there's even more cause to be concerned for Scott than we previously thought.

Disick is back in Los Angeles these days, but all is certainly not well with the Lord.

Insiders say Disick will be forced to take Breathalyzer tests before each visit with his children, and Kourtney is hoping to strip him of what few custody rights he's retained.

Needless to say, frequent benders and messy relationships with teen starlets probably won't do Scott many favors in the eyes of a family court judge.
