Jason (Billy Miller) understands Carly (Laura Wright) in a way few others do. He has seen her at her worst, and he was always there to help her out of any trouble she got herself in. But this isn’t her normal trouble – it is a pain that is overwhelming her. And like always, Jason is there to help Carly understand — and like always, plead Sonny’s case.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) wants to see the best in his father even if he always seems to be at odds with who Sonny (Maurice Benard) is. He knows that his brother’s death really did a number on Sonny, and while it was horrible, perhaps it can open his eyes to the violence that engulfs his world. He urges Sonny to change his ways. Is he even capable of change at this point?

Ava (Maura West) is besieged with guilt about all that she did to Morgan (Bryan Craig) after a confrontation with Sonny. Could seeing her crazy sister in action have been like a mirror to make Ava see the error of her ways – finally?! And if so, what will she do about it? Now that Liv (Tonja Walker) is guest of the State, and therefore no longer a threat, Anna (Finola Hughes) goes to speak with her. The two enemies have a discussion, but it’s not a satisfying one as Liv manages to further frustrate Anna.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) still can’t believe that Julian sacrificed his life to save hers. It’s making her question everything that she thought was true about their relationship as she  reflect on her feelings for Julian and reads the letter he left for her.
