Watch not just one but two of this year’s blockbuster films for free as Openair Cinema One presents the rom-com “Love You To The Stars And Back” and the family drama “Seven Sundays” in its biggest Christmas blowout happening at the Lakeside Grounds in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna on Saturday (Dec. 16).
Join eccentric Mika (Julia Barretto) in her road trip to search for aliens in “Love You To The Stars And Back” where she bumps into a stranger named Caloy (Joshua Garcia), a terminally ill young man whom she gives a free ride to until he reaches his destination. Together they set out to go on a series of adventures and misadventures leading to their own journey to love.
Enjoy the Yuletide vibe with the whole family and revel in “Seven Sundays,” starring Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, Ronaldo Valdez, Christine Reyes, and Aga Muhlach. The hit Cathy Garcia-Molina film, first screened at the cinemas in October, is about the four Bonifacio siblings who have to return to their home and look back into their childhood as they deal with the news that their father is suffering from cancer and only has about two months left to live.
The Openair Cinema One season’s festivity begins at 2pm to be hosted by MOR’s DJ Jhai Ho with exciting musical performances lined up from Moonstar 88, Keiko Necesario, and Hale.
This outdoor event follows the successful screening of LizQuen’s “My Ex And Whys” and musical film “La La Land” last April in Nuvali open grounds where an estimated crowd of 14,000 joined the much-awaited movie night. Last weekend, OpenAir Cinema One also went to Lancaster New City, treating Caviteňos with “Love You To The Stars And Back” back to back with KathNiel’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”
