One of Atlanta's most important artists is now forever immortalized in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. On Thursday (June 14), Jermaine Dupri was officially inducted into the Hall of Fame, becoming only the second rapper ever to join the illustrious group.
This year's event took place at the Marquis Hotel in New York City and included two of Dupri's closest collaborators. On hand to support the Atlanta rapper were Mariah Carey and Usher, who posed for a photo with Dupri while he was holding his trophy.
