Stranger Things Season 3 Will Have Less Episodes

If having to wait until 2019 wasn’t hard enough, it has emerged that when Stranger Things season 3 does arrive, it will have less episodes that its predecessor.

TVLine has recently reported that the third season on Stranger Things season 3 will have one less episode than season 2, as ordered by Netflix. Lets hope less quantity will make for better quality (if the show can even get any better!).

In terms of numbers, the Netflix drama will produce eight episodes which is one less than season two, but even with season one.

As for details, the cast and crew have been very secretive, but the show creators, the Duffer brothers, have teased us that season 3 will not revolve around the Mind Flayer, as was teased in the very final scene of season 2. When producer Shaun Levy was asked by Glamour if the Mind Flayer would play a pivotal arch-villain role in season 3, Levy replied: “You might assume that but you would probably end up being wrong. We’re dealing with forces of evil that are new.”

The director also said that they won’t go as hard on Will Byers in the new season, a character who has been through hell in both seasons one and two. Shaun Levy said, “We’re going to give Will a break,” in a recent interview with Glamour.

What do you think will happen in Stranger Things season 3?
