Riverdale: The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2x04)

Disclaimer: Everything down below are my personal opinions. I'm in no way affiliated with any corporation, especially Riverdale, The CW or teenagers fighting with guns and knives in parking lots. Thank you to The CW for the pictures.

The best part of this week’s episode of Riverdale is the entire Town reacting to Archie’s video the way all of us reacted. You’re 15 years old, have a bunch of half naked high school boys crunched up in a video taken by a boy scout troop leader telling a serial killer that y’all are going to hunt him down. (It was almost as good as that ridiculous speech Betty giving in the finale giving the Black Hood the idea to start killing.) Archie’s out here on the south side spray painting wall, pulling guns on serpents, hiding guns in school toilets and making Veronica fish it out with her rich clean ass hands, too? He never fails to amp up the stupidity and, while I hate him, I also kind of live for it. Almost, but not quite, as much as I live for Alice Cooper (ugh, crazy ass QUEEN posting everything she gets from the killer online!). I did let out a loud gasp when Batty Cooper and I’m a weirdo, I’m weird cracked the code and ran into the town hall meeting. As for the Game of Thrones/Teen Wolf/Walking Dead battle at the end of the episode that culminates in Veronica shooting a gun off in the sky...[keyboard malfunctions]. EPISODE GRADE: B+

Stray notes:
-Why do the Andrews have a TV from 1986?

-"Betty’s ponytail is iconic!" I’m STILL screaming.

-Everyone is literally walking around with a red target on their stomach.

Veronica: The t-shirts were my idea.
Principal: Girl, sit down.

-“Archie’s definitely shook.”

-@Alice, if Southside High is closed where do you think all the kids are going to end up? Riverdale. Girl, goodnight. Go to BED.

-I love how no one budged when Betty told them all the killer was on the way but ran out of the meeting when they SAW her pull the fire alarm.
