Alright! So, Taapsee Pannu woke up one morning and wanted to wear a saree to the airport. But why stress over tripping on heavy pleats or pallu? So, the actress chose a comfy fusion look that was; well, simply meh.(Also read: Taapsee gets a custom-made vanity van for herself. PICS INSIDE.)

Taapsee has a thing for experimenting with fashion and has certainly had more hits than misses. Whether it’s wearing socks with heels or dhoti sarees, her quirky choices have always intrigued us. But recently, the actress was papped in a pair of blue Saree pants (or is it a jumpsuit?) with a pink print from Aapro Label. She teamed up the unflattering number with an almost transparent black shirt that was neatly tucked in. If she wanted to flaunt her black bra, she could have opted for another trick, as it certainly didn’t save the look from drowning. We tried hard to find that one ‘wow’ element in this look but failed miserably.

Agreed! The lady has made an effort to give us a fresh desi-meets-contemporary look, but the outfit scores badly on all the parameters. While such fusion outfits have been dominating celeb wardrobes for years now, Taapsee’s outfit looked weird and we wish she had either opted for a simple saree that’s fuss-free (like Kangana Ranaut does) or a basic jumpsuit. She rounded off the look with a black sling and black brogues that were passable.

So, would you wear these saree pants? Err, we wouldn’t ever!
