The paperback edition of ‘Me’ is available tomorrow including a brand new chapter, which I recorded for the Audiobook. I’d love to say I read it all in one take, but even I don’t always get it right first time! #preposterousness #eltonjohnbook https://t.co/uUP0n8E9fS pic.twitter.com/JSoWwNZOUo

The paperback version of Me by Elton John comes out today. In honor of that, the legendary singer released a video of him recording the audiobook for it. He was doing well until he reached one word. That one word is preposterousness, and he could not say it. No matter how many times he tried.
In his defense, neither can I. This is a crucial lesson. Even though big words make you look smart, they can also make you look stupid. Therefore, don’t use them in anything that you will have to turn into an audio version. Only use words you can pronounce because it will come back to bite you in the arse.
