Originally scheduled to open in the UK in October, production delays forced the UK Premiere of Thunderball to be delayed until 29th December 1965.

Sean Connery’s fourth James Bond movie received a dual premiere. Although Sean Connery missed the event, it was screened both at the London Pavilion and the Rialto, with cast members spit between the two cinemas.
