Did you know that Sara Ali Khan was once mistaken for a beggar as a child?

Sara Ali Khan has time and again said that she has always been inclined towards performing arts. In an old interview, Sara had revealed that she was once mistaken for a beggar as a child as she danced on the streets.
Narrating the incident that happened many years ago when she was a child, Sara reportedly said that it was during one of their family vacations. Her parents, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh went inside a shop to buy something. She and her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, were waiting outside with their help.

She revealed that she started dancing while they were standing on the street and people stopped to give her money as they thought Sara was begging. Quite content with herself, the ‘Kedarnath’ actress kept the money. Elaborating further, Sara added that as soon as Saif and Amrita came out, their help proudly informed them that passersby found Sara to be so cute that they gave her money. Her mother, in turn, told her that they gave her money because they thought she is a beggar.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara will next be seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No. 1’ remake co-starring Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The movie was supposed to hit the theatres on May 1 this year. However, the film was postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown.
