She’s on screens now and Oscar nominated for MANCHESTER BY THE SEA, but Michelle Williams has lined up her next project as news has come that she’s in negotiations to join the cast of Jonah Hill’s directorial debut, MID-90S.
Hill wrote the script for this himself and has Scott Rudin on board as producer. The film follows Stevie in the 1990s as he navigates his teen years in Los Angeles with incoming peer pressure about drinking, drugs and sex. Should she sign, Williams will play Stevie’s mother.
Next up for Williams, however, is the Janis Joplin biopic JANIS, but she can next be seen in THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and WONDERSTRUCK, both set for release later this year.
