Spielberg's Animaniacs Picked Up For Two Seasons By Hulu

Way back in 1993 the extremely popular Animaniacs premiered.  It was created by Tom Ruegger and the production company was Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment coupled with Warner Bros.  The series was as wacky as its title with the main characters, Yakko, Wakko and Dot living in a water tower on a movie lot, actually it was the Warner Bros lot.  Every week the three along with a huge list of guests would star in their own adventures with many movies and TV series getting the Animaniacs treatment.

Well lets zoom right up to the present and good news as Animaniacs is set to return with not one but two seasons being picked up by the streaming service, Hulu.  The new series won't premiere until 2020 but for now the service will be hosting all 99 episodes to whet our appetite.

"I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu," Spielberg said. "Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal."

Are you excited for the new series of Animaniacs and what would you like to see get the cartoon caper treatment?
