In 2019 comedians Desus Nice and The Kid Mero moved their late-night talk show to Showtime, and this year Desus & Mero are back for a third season with these trippy billboards captured along La Brea Avenue and the Sunset Strip on March 1, 2021.
The co-stars of the Bodega Boys podcast and previous web TV and Viceland shows, seem to have found a well received and critically-acclaimed home for their half-hour series, Showtime's first late night show ever.
The savvy pair with their infectious chemistry bring their distinct voice to current events, politics, sports and pop culture with megastar guests, like Whoopi Goldberg, Anthony Mackie, Zendaya, John David Washington, Stacey Abrams, Kelly Rowland, Ramy Youssef and more, helping to supply the laughs and conversation too.
These sophomore season billboards were first spotted along the Sunset Strip on February 24, 2020 and then later along Sunset Boulevard from July 21 to 29, 2020.
Meanwhile these Showtime series launch billboards were snapped along the Sunset Strip and Pico Boulevard from February 11 to February 23, 2019.
