SEGA AGES Out Run has been confirmed for a Western release in Early 2019.

The Sega Ages lineup of classics is probably the best way to experience some of these classics that are available on muliple platforms through various releases. Out Run on 3DS has been my favourite retro SEGA port in a long time. I can’t wait to play it on Switch since the masters of retro releases are handling the release.

Out Run was confirmed for a SEGA AGES release on Switch this year for Japan but SEGA confirmed to Eurogamer that a worldwide release is happening early next year. This version includes the extra content from the 3DS release with the SEGA AGES touch of 60fps, widescreen, and more. Watch the 3DS eshop trailer below:
