Earlier in 2018, Morgan and Bode Miller lost their daughter in a terrible pool accident where she drowned. Now Morgan is going to her Instagram to share a very sweet tribute to their daughter Emeline “Emmy” Miller. This is their first Christmas to live without her. 

Morgan has been very brave throughout all of this. Not long after Emmy passed, she shared the picture of herself holding her daughter during her last moments alive. This couldn’t have been easy to put out there for the world to see. 

The new post that Morgan made is all about Emmy and their first Christmas without here there. It has been a hard year on the family, but they do have other children they have to stay strong for regardless. Here is what she shared in the new post.

“Merry Christmas to our baby girl in heaven. We miss you so much!

2018 has been a year full of overwhelming sadness and overwhelming joy. We have spent half of the year mourning and attempting to heal the loss of our angel which feels like an impossible battle all while celebrating the birth of our son. Seeking normalcy for our children has been our driving force forward. Normally I would be looking forward to a “fresh beginning” in 2019 but there is no more starting fresh after the loss of a child. So here’s to a healthy 2019 full of personal growth and creating many memories with my babies, full of smiles and laughs. Wishing everyone a special holiday season surrounded by loved ones.”

This had to be a hard year for the Miller family. They will never forget their daughter, but hopefully, it starts to get easier for them. The Miller’s have several children. They can’t replace Emmy, but they can give the family a reason to stay strong. They share Samuel, 5,  with Bode Miller’s ex Sara McKenna. They also have children Nash, 3 and Easton, almost 3 months. 

If you want to keep up with Bode and Morgan Miller, they are always posting on their Instagram. Morgan is a lot more active than Bode and she makes sure to share about their children, including their daughter they lost, all the time. The couple is hoping for a great 2019. This couple deserves a good year!
