It was a big day for Prince Louis. The youngest royal member had his christening and his family came together to help the little prince celebrate the blessed event.
The christening took place at St. Jame’s Palace in London on July 9. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were in attendance sure not to miss their younger brother’s big day. And the older royal siblings were in good behavior for the celebratory day.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte entered holding their father Prince William, 36, hands, while their mother, Kate Middleton followed behind holding Prince Louis in her arms.
When the two were about to approach the Archbishop of Canterbury, William told his two eldest children to give a shake of the hand, after doing so Princess Charlotte and Prince George received a “Well done!” from their father.

Charlotte, 3, was dressed in a blue floral frock, wearing her hair parted in the middle the princess wore a blue headband that had a bow attached at the top. Going with the blue theme of her dress, Charlotte wore matching blue shoes and white socks.
Prince George, 4, was dressed in navy knickers and a white crisp short sleeve shirt. Paired with his outfit the prince wore navy socks and shoes.

George and Charlotte weren’t the only two that were on their best behavior. The man of the hour was taking a cue from his big brother and sister. According to sources, when the Royal Family greeted the Archbishop of Canterbury he was pleased to see Louis looking, “very relaxed and peaceful.” Kate allegedly smiled back and replied, “Let’s hope he stays like this,” as all mothers can relate to Kate in this instance.
The Duchess of Cambridge who is on her six-month maternity, not to return to her royal duties until October was a vision in white for her youngest christening.
Going with past tradition, the Duchess wore one of her tried and true designer’s Alexander McQueen. Kate wore similar ensembles for George and Charlotte’s christening’s marking Louis’ as the third time wearing the beloved designer. Kate nailed her look and as the saying goes if it isn’t broke don’t fix it.
