Actress Rachel Weisz and James Bond Actor Daniel Craig are Expecting Their First Child Together
Rachel Weisz, 48, and Daniel Craig, 50, have been married since June 2011. Rachel is already a mother to her 11-year-old son Henry who she shares with director Darren Aronofsky, who she dated between 2001 and 2010.
The James Bond star is a father to his 25-year-old daughter Ella from his previous marriage to actress Fiona Loudon.

The actress revealed the shocking news in a New York Times profile on Friday, April, 20th. “I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery,” she gushed.
Rachel and Daniel have kept their relationship ultra private over the years but the actress did open up in an interview about her marriage to Craig saying, “You make it your own. It’s very personal, it’s very private. I don’t think mine’s particularly exceptional apart from that we’re both in the public eye.”
She went on to admit, “ But I never thought I would get married. It was not an ambition of mine. It was the opposite. I couldn’t relate to romantic comedies-marriage seems to be the whole point of them. Then it just happened, happily, at a more mature moment.”
Rachel Weisz went on to speak of how she keeps her marriage sacred with Craig, “He’s just too famous. It would be a betrayal. You have to protect your marriage. When you’re young, you tell your girlfriends everything. One of the great pleasures of not being an adolescent is that you don’t have to share everything. When you’re married, that door closes. The audience goes, and you’re in your own life.”
Weisz adds to the rising number of leading ladies in Hollywood that has jumped on the baby bandwagon over 40. And it’s not just happening in Tinsel Town, more and more we are hearing about woman conceiving children in their 40’s. But it’s not as easy as it may sound.

Dr. Zev Williams, MD from Columbia University Fertility Center talks about the likelihood of conceiving in your 40’s and says a pregnancy at 48 like Weisz’s is nothing short of a miracle.
“The more we study it, the more we think to conceive at any age and to have a healthy pregnancy is a miracle. It really is an incredible process,” says Williams. “I wouldn’t say there’s one age where, the year before it’s not a miracle [to conceive naturally] and after that it is, but for a woman after age 42, 43, you’re looking at well under 1 percent chances.”
