Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl posted a photo babywearing her 7-month-old son Joshua Jr. while making DIY cleaning supplies.
“Up now on Those Heavenly Days (link in bio) is a new post on my favorite DIY cleaning supplies. Yeah I realize I sorta look like the mother with the mostess in this pic. Making my own cleaning supplies while wearing my baby…the truth is, said baby started pitching a fit moments after this pic was taken and the whole DIY project went up in smoke until I put him down for his nap. The Knocked Up actress recently opened up about her postpartum weight loss journey.
“In the seven months since Joshua Jr was born I have managed to slowly but surely drop my pregnancy weight with only 10 pounds left to lose. I gained almost 50 pounds during my pregnancy and I’m not gonna lie, I had moments of sheer panic that I’d never be able to lose it all. I had hoped to only gain 25-30 pounds like my mother during her pregnancies but found that just wasn’t possible for me,” she wrote.
After sharing some photos, the mom-of-three talked about healthy eating.
“Low calorie meals are an important part of losing weight for me. I don’t burn a tremendous amount of calories a week because I’m not into those high impact cardio or weight training classes. So I have to be somewhat mindful of what and how much I’m eating,” she shared.
The actress and husband Josh Kelley welcomed their son on Dec. 20, 2016. They are also parents to daughters Naleigh, 8, and Adalaide, 5.
