Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon posted a family Photo on Thanksgiving Day (November 24).
“So thankful for these sweet kids in my life ! They make me laugh and smile everyday. I feel grateful for every moment I get to be with them. #thanksgiving2016,” the Wild actress, 40, Instagrammed the image of daughter Ava, 17, sons Deacon, 13, and Tennessee, 4, and her nieces.
Ava also posted a Family Photo via Instagram on Thanksgiving Day.
“Super thankful for these guys,” she captioned the image of her brothers hugging.
Meanwhile, Ava and Deacon’s father, actor Ryan Phillippe, celebrated the holiday with his sisters.
“Thankful for my 3 sweet sisters & how they helped make me the man i am today. the good parts of me, anyway. srsly, i’ve known them forever & they are great! i love you guys,” he Instagrammed the family photo.
The Secrets and Lies actor, 42, recently opened up about co-parenting with his famous ex over the holidays.
“As a divorced dad, we trade off. Last year, my kids and I went to my parents in Delaware, this year they will be with their mom and I am shooting a movie up in Toronto,” Phillippe told ET. “I am going to fly down to Philly and just have a Thanksgiving with my parents and the kids get to be with Reese.”
He added: “You have to get to that point as a divorced parent, as any parent, where you’re not putting yourself first. You want the kids’ experience to be its own and not like, ‘Well, I need to have my time!’ We have been very good about that.”
