Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021 on Sunday, December 12th (Monday morning, Dec. 13th in Manila), during the pageant's finals held in Eliat, Israel. She beat Miss Paraguay Nadia Ferreira who was named 1st runner-up. Miss South Africa Lakeland Mswane was part of the Top 3 and was named 2nd runner-up.

Miss Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez and Miss Colombia Valeria Ayos were both part of the Top 5.
Beatrice’s placement was not bad at all considering how last year’s Philippine representative performed. She is the second Miss Philippines sent to the pageant after the Miss Universe Philippines franchise was removed from Binibining Pilipinas and was given to Empire Philippines.
Miss Universe 2021 Top 10 includes delegates from Puerto Rico, USA, The Bahamas, France and Aruba; while representatives from Singapore, Panama, Japan, Great Britain, Vietnam and Venezuela were part of the Top 16.
