: Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav arrives in Patna after he was discharged from Mumbai's Asian Heart Institute. Jharkhand High Court had yesterday rejected his request for 3 Months Bail Extension on medical grounds and had asked him to surrender by August 30.
The Jharkhand high court on Friday refused to extend the provisional bail of fodder scam convict Yadav and asked him to surrender by August 30 before the Central Bureau of Investigation court.
Hearing the prayer for extension of provisional bail for three months on grounds that the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader needed to undergo treatment, Justice Apresh Kumar Singh asked Prasad to surrender by August 30 before the CBI court and directed the state government to provide medical care whenever needed.

There is a feeling of shock and disbelief after the ailing RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was denied an extension of the provisional bail by Jharkhand High Court on Friday. The Court has directed him to surrender before the CBI court by August 30.
RJD legislator and spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav said, “We do not comment on judicial pronouncements, but the truth that is worrying all of us in the party is that his (Lalu’s) health remains critical and he badly needs medical treatment and care.”
