‘Wonder Woman 2’ Casts ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Pedro Pascal

The sequel to 2017 Box Office hit Wonder Woman has added former Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal to its cast.

Pedro Pascal is a Chilean-American actor best known for his role as Oberyn Martell in HBO hit Game of Thrones where his character provided one of the most memorable moments in the show’s history- that fight scene between Oberyn and the Mountain. You might also notice Pascal from his roles in Netflix’s Narcos as well as 2016’s fantasy movie The Great Wall.

The Wonder Woman sequel is set to begin production in the coming months with a view for initial release on Nov. 1, 2019, barring any delays.  Pedro Pascal joins Kristen Wiig in the highly-anticipated sequel, which marks the second time the two have been on the same project, having previously worked together on Exposed

It’s really no wonder that Wonder Woman was quickly renewed for a sequel after the Box Office success of the first movie, which gained fantastic reviews from top critics, also grossing $821 million worldwide including $412 domestically.

We do not currently know much details about the second movie, so we can’t give you any details on Pascal’s role – but he will play a big one. The actor is currently working on Netflix film “Triple Frontier” which has a cast of Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund.
