Foot Accidents’ Treatment Bills is to be passed soon

A damaged motorcycle after a road Accident .

Good news for the Delhites that people injured during road accidents will be given free Treatment if taken to a private hospital nearby. Quoting this CM Arvind Kejriwal said, “Every life counts. Every life is important for us. If an accident victim receives best medical care immediately, many lives could be saved”.

On 12th December, 2017 Tuesday, the Delhi cabinet passed the scheme whose objective is to save as many lives as possible of the accident victims. Every day the city witnesses many accidents, either by truck, car, bikes etc. but nothing noteworthy have been done till now for these accident victims.

This new bill will instil the trust of people for the government and a sigh of relief that if any mishap happens to them, there is somebody who will take the care. Generally, the accident victims are taken to the Government hospital as the treatment is free there, but in the cases when the hospital is far, it can prove fatal to the victim.

The bill has been passed keeping in mind that anyone who comes across any such victim, the victim should be admitted in the nearest possible hospital without worrying about the treatment fees to be paid.

Indian medical is behind in many points as compared to the medical facilities provided abroad. But as it is said, better late than never; this move will prove as a breakthrough in the Indian medical history and will pave way for newer achievements and milestones soon.
