Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, the American actress and filmmaker, professionally known as Brie Larson, was born on 1st October 1989, at California, U.S. She is the daughter of Heather and Sylvain Desaulniers, who were homeopathic chiropractors. She used to write and direct her own movies in which she casted and filmed her cousins. She attended an audition at the American Conservatory Theatre, when she was 6 years old.

 Her first job in acting was to perform a commercial parody in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Her first musical album Finally Our of P.E. was released in 2005, which was not a great success. She got in the role of a filmmaker by co-writing and co-directing the short film The Arm in the year 2012.  She appeared in films including Short Term 12, The Spectacular Now, Room, Kong: Skull Island, and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. 

She received several accolades as an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe.

It was in 2019 that they got separated after living together for around three years in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles. 

It is being rumoured that she is currently dating actor and director Elijah Allan-Blitz. The duo has appeared in several occasions together in the year 2019.

When asked about hobbies, Larson describes herself as the strangest one. When not working on films, she engages herself in studying mycology and making different fonts. Mycology is the study of mushrooms and other fungi, which she had learned for about a year. She also uses her free time in between shots to create fonts, which she says, help to make her mind active and fresh.
