E3 2018: Twin Mirror Announced, Slated for 2019

DONTNOD, the studio behind Life is Strange, revealed a new project today as part of Sony’s “Countdown to E3 2018” announcements. The new title, Twin Mirror, is a narrative-driven game centered around a man named Sam and his less-than triumphant return to his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia.

Sam’s motive to return to Basswood is the funeral of his best friend. To make things worse, Sam is also reeling from a major breakup. But things aren’t going to get easier for Sam. After his first night back in Basswood, Sam wakes up with a bloody shirt and no recollection of the night before.

Twin Mirror will, naturally, focus on Sam’s attempts to unravel the events of the night in question. Balancing Sam’s investigation with his personal interactions will be the central aspect of Twin Mirror when it releases in 2019.
