Vancouver Fashion Week Is Back - October 22-24, 2021

Vancouver Fashion Week has kept up its presence through photos: Paris, Tokyo, New York and around Vancouver, all keep it at the forefront! As Media, we got our instructions and safety protocols, a thank you in advance, and a warm welcome. Wait times were short and there was a Media room for us to meet other writers and photographers. There were two runways and chairs, a distance apart, lined both walls and the center of the room. We had multiple views of the international and local styles that are what Fashion Week is all about.

I wore bright colors: coral, cobalt blue and purple, just such a break from the darkness of covid (no capital letter for that one) and flats because of all of the running around for meet and greets and photos. However, I did don the Fluevogs to set off the brilliant blue of my dress by local Designer, Shelley Klassen, who has graced the red carpet at VFW many times. On night 3, I wore purple dress and a vibrant purple necklace and earrings by local Designer Carolyn Bruce.

Here is Day 1, my  Friday night list of Designers and favorite photos.
