Night Feel Too Short Here

As for the nightlife, Bali is more sparkling than any other tourist destination. From little bars to huge and modern nightclubs with international DJ's, packed with vacationers ready to party until morning. Tourists on the prowl for a spot of companionship and fun will find in every corner of Sanur and Kuta, like-minded travelers, locals and future friends! The plus point is that all taxi drivers also know the popular and up-to-date karaoke, bars, clubs, nightclubs and discos anywhere on the island at night.

Life in Bali after dark starts late, nearing midnight; even in Kuta where the whole evening will be very quiet. But come the stroke of 12, and just like Cinderella, Bali's night spots and in-places will pulsate and throb with fun, music and revelry.

Yes, the real action starts close to midnight, especially in Kuta Beach... Bali's main party zone. "Kuta" at night refers to the area extending about 7 km north of the original village of Kuta. This area now includes Legian, Seminyak and even Basangkasa. Gili Trawangan, the largest of the islands, yet entirely accessible by foot, is also considered to be "the party" island of the trio with its myriad bar and restaurant facilities popular with international backpackers and ex-pat crowds looking to escape Kuta and Seminyak hustle and bustle.

Dress Codes are non-existent. Most people wear light clothing, including shorts and a T-shirts probably purchased at one of the markets. There is no need for any fancy evening wear, in fact you would probably stand out like a sore thumb if you did arrive wearing your trendy nightlife gear you would normally wear at home. There is no age limit so even your little brother or sister can enjoy the music and let their hair down for the night.

At the heart of Bali's hedonistic lifestyle are the night clubs that never close. With something for everyone, there's never a dull moment. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a drink or a leisurely dinner by the beach.

A two-week holiday in Bali is too short to try all the places here.
