The first time I heard about this place,I thought it was a crazy concept.  Who would go out to eat, only to Cook their food?  Isn't the reason we go out to eat is to let someone else do the cooking?  As it turns out, once we tried it, we quickly saw that this was a great idea.
   The process is fairly simple. You order your meat or seafood.   The server brings out a inch thick volcanic rock that has been heated to 755 degrees.  Your meat is already sizzling on the stone. The server will show you how to cook and slice your meat to the temperature you prefer. Depending on how you like your order, it could take only one minute until it is done. The bonus here is that each piece you bite into is very hot and tasty. It was truly one of the best steaks we ever had.  Black Rock will cook your food if you woukd rather have them do it.
  We have tried other food at Black Rock too.  They have outstanding fish and chips, and great fall off the bone ribs too.
  Black Rock started out in Hartland Michigan in 2010.
