Hawaii travel news: September 1, 2022

– Hawaiian Airlines is hosting a new Hawaii vacation sweepstakes. The winner will receive 160,000 HawaiianMiles, a three-night stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki, priority access to a Hawaii Food and Wine Festival event in November and more. Entry requires following one of the these social media channels for Hawaiian Airlines: Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Additionally, one must complete the entry form at this link. This sweepstakes is eligible for persons “18 years of age or older or age of majority and I am a legal resident of the 50 U.S. or DC.”  See this link for the official rules.

– Back by popular demand, Lanai Cat Sanctuary is hosting live Yoga with 680+ Cats via Facebook and Instagram on Saturday, September 3. It’s set to start at 12pm Hawaii Standard Time. By the way, Hawaii News Now did a fun feature on the Lanai Cat Sanctuary.

– Saturday, September 17 is Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day. Several museums across the country are offering free admission for Museum Day. Oahu’s Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is one that is participating. You can use this link to get a ticket.
