What to Expect at Perth Terminal 1 – Arrivals:
Foreign Exchange
Exchanging foreign currency is easy with a branch of Currency Exchange right in the arrivals hall at Perth airport. It is open 24/7 for your convenience. Here, you can pick up any currency that was ordered online or simply make your purchase in-store.

Getting Connected – Phones and Sim Cards
The larger mobile networks have stores in the arrivals halls at the airports. At Perth International Airport, you will find branches of Optus and Vodafone where you can pick up an Australian sim card and/or a phone and calling credit (or top up).

Airport Wifi
Fast, free WiFi is provided in terminal 1 for your convenience. Whether you need to look up details, communicate with loved ones or do some research, you can stay connected.
To connect to the Airport WiFi, simply:
- Ensure WiFi connectivity is enabled on your device;
- Choose Perth Airport Free WiFi from the available networks;
- Open your internet browser;
- Register to gain access and there you go.
How to Get to Your Next Destination:

Changing Terminals
A free transfer bus operates 24/7 between the terminals at the airport. Please allow plenty of time to transfer between terminals.
Car Rental/ Hire
There are a few companies which offer car rental from Terminal One at Perth Airport, including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Redspot and Thrifty.
Inside Terminal 1, you will see counters for Avis and Budget and you will need to follow the signs for the other car rental companies.
Public Transport
Bus Route 380 has runs each day between Airport Terminal 1 and Perth City Centre. It has luggage racks and also has limited stops at these destinations:
- Elizabeth Quay Bus Station
- Victoria Park Transfer Station
- Burswood Train Station
- Belmont Forum Shopping Centre
Uber
Perth Airport now has a dedicated rideshare/ uber pickup point just outside the Terminal 1 exits. Please view the airport map here.
