I have been slacking recently, as I've been getting back into the rat race. I decided it was time to reminisce about last May in Tofino, the jewel of Vancouver Island. Getting a cabin with pals and a few beers is the thing to do here. There are also designated campsites on some of the most rugged and naturally beautiful beaches in the world.
This collection of photographs is geared toward taking you step by step, hour by hour and Photo by photo through the changing colours of the Tofino sunset. After an afternoon surfing, people hang around chilling on the beach, waiting for the show to begin.
As the light is lost and the sun starts to dip behind the cloud, barbecues and campfires begin to crop up all around the beach. Just when you think it's all over....
The sky explodes into an electric fuscia pink...
followed by bright red just before the lights go out!
