What was once an industrial manufacturing area, Granville Island now plays host to a food market, buskers, a theatre, a steakhouse, artist workshops, its very own brewing company and a prestigious art and design university. The multi-coloured silos signal the home of the island's oldest tenant, a concrete business. A Brazilian artistic duo, Gustavo and Otavio Pandolfo known collectively as Osgemeos a.k.a The Twins transformed this industrial landmark into a 3 dimensional mural depicting 6 colourful characters as part of a larger project called Giants. Next time you're doing your grocery shopping, check out the art work. You can't really miss it!
