When a Canadian refers to a Dump this is what they mean....A big Snow dump! This year saw an unprecedented amount of snow in the Vancouver! A city that is known for its temperate climate compared to much of the country.
I experienced my first classic winter brought by El Nino. Went to ice hockey games and Christmas markets!
I had my first night ever stranded on a closed Highway on a journey that should have taken 8 hours but actually took 17 hours, eating into precious ski-ing time. I now know why Vancouverites avoid the Coquihalla Highway at all costs between October and March! Thank God I was on the Greyhound and not doing the driving! Even then there was a sketchy moment when the bus slid backwards without any driver on the bus.
