Some shots from the Portland Road trip. It rained all weekend except for some dry spells on the drive home. We took a detour through the vineyards of Mount Hood and a snow ball fight/photoshoot ensued.
Multnomah Falls is a must-see if you're in the area or even if you are not. You can treat yourself to some fudge for the drive back. The bridge is apparently a feat of Italian architecture.
But what I loved the most was just driving around Washington state, not knowing what we were going to find. We tried to be clever and drive back to Vancouver along the small roads and skirt Mount Rainier. That backfired though when within 10 minutes, we found ourselves in a Winter wonderland through the forest and hit the dead end of a closed road deemed to wintery to let us pass.
