SPRING STROLLS AROUND BURRARD INLET

Vancouver is on point when the sun is out and when the sun does show it's face, Vancouver is transformed into the Venice of North America. Having a stroll around Granville Island, the Kitsilano sea wall and Burrard Bridge are all perfect Sunday outings.

And not to forget my very first sighting of the Kitsilano Eagle. I had heard friends speak of the local VIP, Kitsilano's very own bald eagle. It wasn't until I went on a group run with Vancouver Running Company that I first spotted the local celebrity perched high in a tree. From then on, I would notice the eagle every time I walked past and heard on the grapevine that there were some eaglets in his clan too! This is by no means the last eagle photo nor is it the best photo but it was special just because it was the first. If you ever find yourself living in Vancouver and you're like me and are undisciplined when it comes to sport, you should most definitely head out with the Vancouver Running Club. It's a great way to explore the city and very social. They set off at 6.15pm every Thursday and afterwards head out for pizza and some beers on the last Thursday of every month! For the ultra keen there are trail runs on Sunday mornings. Check out their instagram page to see their playground!
