This journey is a mere 45 minutes drive through some stunning landscapes with plenty of interesting stops. The Rockies have a real distinctive appearance. It is an assault on the senses everywhere you look.
Frozen waterfalls and azure waters...
But you don't really get a grasp of the scale until you're cruising down the highway with the mountains towering above.
Mount Robson is one of Rockie's most majestic and Canada's highest peak. These photographs were all taken in April. As you can see, at this time of year, the remnants of the winter are all too visible and the frozen lakes are just beginning to thaw!
